This is the time to be enjoying these delicious seasonal fruits. Rhubarb and strawberries are plentiful, and easy to turn into a delicious sauce. It’s great as a topping for fresh ice cream or anything else you can think of!
Ahhh…it seems Spring may really be here! Time to be thinking of some of those early harvest items. One of my favorites is asparagus, especially grilled. This one is easy. The hardest part is just getting the grill going!
This is a great cold weather recipe. Most of the ingredients are available at the Athens Farmers’ Market. I start with King Family Farm Italian sausage, kale from Vest Berries or Green Edge Gardens, potatoes from Vest’s or Roger Graves. Frequently I’ll make my own chicken stock, and go from there. Feel free to spice it up.
